Join us at the 32nd Annual Peach State Star Gaze October 4th, 2026 through October 11th, 2026.
"I've been going to this event for at least twenty years and this year ranks as one of the best. We had fantastic weather and the Deerlick site has great infrastructure with water, flush toilets and showers, plentiful ac power and wifi. I'll post some of my images obtained from this great event."

"My family were first-time PSSG attendees this year. We were there Monday to Saturday, and it was clear all or most of every night there. Beyond the amazing dark skies, it was a great experience. All of the DAV hosts were incredibly nice and helpful. The observing field is well designed, had lots of amenities (baths with hot showers, snacks for sale, lots of pads and plenty of power) and tons of space. The event was also well organized and truly tried to make everyone welcome. My wife and I had our special needs son with us and everyone was great to him. Thank you! There are limited star party options in the southeast and PSSG is at the top of my list after just one visit."
RV hookups, concrete pads, real bathrooms, a snack tent & an open-air pavilion
"This year has been great at PSSG with more clear nights than any star party I’ve ever attended. It’s a friendly and helpful group and the facilities are awesome. There’s power for 40 or 50 campsites and several RV hookups, a bathroom/shower building, and pavilion to get out of the sun during the day. Lots of 12-20” dobs for visual, and imaging is easy with all the power hookups. I’ll definitely be back next year!"
